There must be an element of email newsletter sign up included in the game journey so we can acquire these customers
Keep Culturalites community in mind and consider what they would find engaging.
Keep our “fragrance first” approach in mind with the design
The game will need to be used across markets globally (UK, US, DE, SA, GR, CY)

The game should have an element of winning, so consider prizes in the journey
The game will launch in peak period (Oct-Dec) so consider this in your planning. Make it seasonally relevant
The game should have logevity so it can potentially be repurposed each year
This game will be hosted and should be mobile first. The game should be designed on brand and should encourage multiple plays, not just one-time played.
My Team
I was partnered up with 4 other students at the University of Cincinnati in varying majors including IS/data analytics, computer science, statistics, and industrial design. Together we collaborated to design and create a wireframe for the design challenge.
Inspiration
One example we looked at when designing our game was the 2021 Starbucks Earth Month Game. In this game, Starbucks Rewards members can earn plays on eligible transactions at participating Starbucks stores. Throughout this game, players will earn additional “plays” by participating in weekly activities
Initial Ideas
-
New York Time's games have taken over the internet and are super popular with the culturalites. We could do a spin of Wordle or a crossword to incorporate Molton Brown products
-
Puzzle's are a timeless game that many people enjoy. This game could be made into a Molton Brown holiday theme.
-
Water sort is my father's favorite game and this game could be transformed into a fragrance sort of Molton Brown products
Making the wireframe
When ideating the wireframe we wanted to incorporate a holiday theme that also included Molton Brown brand. As a team we landed on the idea of "Scent Shuffle” that incorporated sorting out different Molton Brown scents to reveal some of their actual products that customers could choose as a prize.
User Experience

Final Wireframe
The final wireframe was constructed in collaboration with the others in my group. We used ‘Figma’ to construct the wireframe and Canva for the graphics.
